Mykell was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He spent many years as a singer/songwriter. During this time he worked with people like Grammy winning producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and Super music manager Johnny Wright. Mykell was able to release an EP titled "Dreaming Clear" and an LP entitled "Sound Therapy."   

  Music gave him his first on camera acting opportunity costarring with Mike "The Situation" Sorrenteno in the web series "New Stage" titled after his first single of the same name. 

  Soon after he moved to Los Angeles and began writing and producing his own projects, including the series "202" and his most recent short film "Hụrụ".  

  Mykell spends his time combining his love of writing, passion for music, and knowledge of filmmaking to create unique stories and artisitc projects to share with the world.
